RSLWA is devoted to supporting veterans, whether they’ve returned or are currently in service, paying homage to those who have contributed to our nation. We offer a secure haven of mateship and camaraderie, extending care to individuals who continue to dedicate themselves today.

Each RSLWA Sub-Branch creates a community atmosphere reminiscent of the military service experience. These spaces provide a peaceful respite for veterans and their families to find support and solace. Within our walls, the spirit of ANZAC, pride for the nation, and a strong sense of connection with peers are vibrant and alive.

SERVICE MEMBERSHIP

Service Membership is open to any person who has served in any of the Australian Defence Forces for at least one full day or;

• For a minimum of six months in the Regular or Reserve Forces of any Commonwealth of Nations country.
• In the Regular or Reserve Forces of the United States of America, or
• In the Regular or Reserve Forces of a country not considered an enemy of Australia.

If you are currently serving in the Australian Defence Forces, your first year of membership is free of charge. Following this period, memberships are $40 per calendar year.

AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP

Individuals aged 18 or older are eligible for Affiliate Memberships, granted they:

• Are related to a person eligible for Service Membership, or have been a member for at least six months of one of the following:

• Fire Brigade
• Police
• Nurses
• Emergency Services
• Prison Officers
• Australian Border Force
• Cadets (Adult)
