ANZAC Day 2022

Please join us as we commemorate the sacrifice of the fallen this ANZAC Day.

March: This year it is important to note that the march steps off from Newman House (at the round-a-bout near Woolworths). Please be parked and ready to form up no later than 0540hrs.

Service:  Please be parked, with headlights off no later than 0540hrs.

We remind all those in attendance that Covid regulations will be in place. Safe WA scanning points will be available and you are encouraged to scan in your attendance. A Covid Safety plan will be available for viewing and a limited amount of masks will be on offer at the set up area. Social distancing is a requirement.

ANZAC Day 2022 is the first major public event in Newman since the easing of restrictions. We therefore ask attendees to consider the health of others moving forward, to ensure both public health and that the future gathering of crowds is not compromised.

Camaraderie Gathering at Pilbara Regiment Barracks Newman: After the Commemorative service attendees are invited to join us in a morning of camaraderie at the Pilbara Regiment Barracks, Laver Street Newman, for the traditional Gunfire Breakfast. Please ensure you have evidence of double Covid vaccination should it be a requirement to attend.

Should you have any enquiries regarding the information, pleae direct to Secretary Newman RSL, Selena Casey, 0448 240 825.
