The Newman RSL Sub-Branch invites you to an evening of commraderie and friendship. We invite the broader community inerested in assisting the ongoing work of our local Sub-Branch. We especially invite current and past Defence members and their families. We would love to see our Ancillary Services cousins from Medical, Police, Fire, Ambulance, SES and Teaching. Newman RSL Sub-Branch will be holding the 2025 Remembrance Day commemoration on 11 Nov 2025. The service will be held at the RSL Memorial in the Shire Gardens on the corner of Newman & Kalgan Drives.     

The 2025 ANZAC Day Commemoration will be held on Friday 25th April. All members of our community are invited to participate. Again, our day will commence with the march to the memorial where the Dawn Service will be held. The traditional Gunfire Breakfast will be held at the William Lynas Club (A-Troop, 20 Laver Street) where our day of fellowship and comaraderie will continue into the afternoon. We wish to sincerely thank all our sponsors and contributors.          

Please join us as we commemorate the sacrifice of the fallen this ANZAC Day. March: This year it is important to note that the march steps off from Newman House (at the round-a-bout near Woolworths). Please be parked and ready to form up no later than 0540hrs. Service:  The service will be held at the Shire of East Pilbara Administration gardens at approximately 06:00am. Please be parked, with headlights off no later than 0540hrs. Camaraderie Gathering at Pilbara Regiment Barracks Newman: After the Commemorative service attendees are invited to join us in a morning of camaraderie at the Pilbara Regiment Barracks, Laver Street Newman, for the traditional Gunfire Breakfast.  Should you have any enquiries regarding the information, please direct to Secretary Newman RSL, Selena Casey, 0448 240 825.

Newman RSL wishes to invite members of the public to join them in commemorating those who made the ultimate sacrifice in defence of Australia. The 2022 ANZAC Day Commemorative Service will commence after the march at approximately 06:00 and is expected to conclude at 07:00. The service will be held at thr Newman RSL Cenotaph, Shire administration gardens, corner Kalgan and Newman Drives. This is a family friendly event. Attendees are expected to comply with any and all Covid requirements. Covid requirements will be updated on this page closer to the time.

For those wishing to participate in the Newman ANZAC Day Commemorative March; Form up 0540 Newman House Step off at 0550 arriving at the Newman RSL Cenotaph approximately 0600 for the commencement of the Commemorative Service.
